DERUSTIT stainless steel cleaner 2084 degreases, cleans and removes oxide layers in one working process.
Stainless steel cleaner 2084 contains no halide acids or salts.Application - direct method
DERUSTIT stainless steel cleaner 2084 is applied undiluted to the surface. This can be done with a brush. It is more advantagous - because of low usage - to spray the stainless steel cleaner evenly onto the surface by using a low-pressure sprayer.
Application - combination method
If welded seams and surfaces are to be treated at one object, the welds should first be treated with a DERUSTIT pickling paste and then, without removing the paste, the surfaces should be treated as mentioned above. In conclusion the object should be thoroughly rinsed with water.
Approx. 6m² surface can be treated with 1 kg DERUSTIT stainless steel cleaner 2084.
We propose a contact time between 30 - 60 minutes.
It is recommended that DERUSTIT stainless steel cleaner 2084 is not allowed to dry before removal. It should not, therefore, be applied to surfaces which are warm or in direct sunlight.
