Clean the weld zone - preheat massive pieces (more than 6 mm of thickness), to 150°C - 250°C - in order to avoid all risks of porosity, weld with a short arc and guide the electrode at 90°C to the piece to weld.
Warning! Al-electrodes are very sensitive to pick-up humidity: maintain the opened tins in a dry environment - in case of humidity pick-up, redry the electrodes at 100°C/3h.
