Ternary alloy: 20 % silver bearing and Si
Ternary alloy which main elements are: copper, zinc and silver at 20%, with 0.2% Si. The addition of silver and zinc lowers the liquidus temperature.
This viscous alloy is suitable to join most Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals with the notable exception of Aluminium and Magnesium. Its low fluidity makes it suitable in joint configurations where the fit up is poor. It has good fillet-forming capabilities.
An economical and multi-usage silver brazing alloy.
Suitable for difficult works which are impossible with Brazing alloys. Being Cd free, can also be used in the food industry. Its structure also allows brazing in stages (reheating).
To be used with AG FLUX or as flux coated rods, when brazing in open atmospheric conditions.
Bare rods in Ø 1,5 - 2 - 2,5 - 3 mm, while Flux coated rods Ø1,5 and 2 mm, standard length 500 mm. Also available in wire and performs.
