Inconel type electrode for building up and repairing
Semi-synthetic basic electrode with 140% efficiency, deposing an austenitic alloy of Inconel 600 type for repairing and joining of Nickel alloys, pure Nickel, steels with 5% and 9% of Nickel, cryogenic steels (down to -196%) and high temperature, Inconel 600, Incoloy 800. Highly performance for joining dissimilar materials, buttering of difficult to weld steels - also for welding stainless/low alloyed steels, or stainless/Nickel alloys - Stainless deposit insensitive to cracks - very good resistance to acids, salt and alcaline solution, molten salts (ex : cyanide) flux of brazing, reducing and carburisation atmosphere (avoid sulphurous atmosphere).
Oven parts, burners, heat treatment equipment, cement works (band of ovens and rollers), mould of pieces, tanks of scrubbing, transport and stocking of liquid gas.
Applications: Chemical industry, petrochemical, glassworks, civil engineering, Ni-steels, repairing and maintenance workshops.
Note : ‘Inconel and Incoloy’ are trade marks of Inco Company
Alloy of type: Incoloy 800, DS - Inconel 600, 601

Redrying 1 h at 250-300°C. Joints to weld must be clean, exempt from grease, cracks. Weld with a minimum heat input in order to eliminate the phenomena of hot cracks. For welding carbon steels a preheating of 200-500°C, depending on the carbon equivalent, is recommended.
