FCW 825

Basic flux cored stainless steel wire, with high-alloy strip for gas shielded metal arc welding

Description & applications

• Basic flux cored stainless steel wire, with high-alloy strip for gas shielded metal arc welding

• Fully austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo-Cu weld metal

• Exclusive slag system and fine tuning of the compositional balance increase resistance against cracking

• Deposit is resistant against stress corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion, pitting corrosion and intergranular corrosion

• Maximum performances in the horizontal and downhand positions

• Welded with classical economical Ar-CO2 mixtures

APPLICATIONS

• Cladding alloy 825

• Welding stainless steels of similar composition or joining leaner austenitic stainless steels
