Description & applications

DESCRIPTION

  1. Rutile flux cored stainless steel wire for gas shielded arc welding
  2. 24% chromium - 13% nickel - low carbon deposit
  3. Specifically designed for out-of-position welding
  4. Attractive bead appearance, very good penetration and high productivity
  5. Excellent X-ray soundness
  6. Maximum productivity for completion of vertical welds
  7. Welded with classical economical Ar-CO2 mixtures or CO2

APPLICATIONS

  1. Welding stainless steels of similar composition or ferritic stainless steels.
  2. Joining stainless steels to mild and low-alloyed steels.
  3. Rebuilding and buffering before cladding or hardfacing.
  4. Maintenance on « hard-to-weld steels ».

Examples

Dissimilar welds between stainless steels type 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 318, 316Ti, 321, 410 or ferritic stainless steels type 1.4713, 1.4724, 1.4742, 3Cr12, to non or low alloyed CMn steels, for service temperatures up to 400°C.
